Search Engineer - AI/LLM Expert

Job Title: Search Engineer with expertise in Large Language Models

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Search Engineer with a strong background in Large Language Models to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for building and optimizing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) models for search across large-scale medical and scientific documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable RAG models using LangChain and OpenSearch technologies
  • Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth production rollout and model deployment
  • Fine-tune LLMs for textual RAG use cases and improve automated evaluation pipelines
  • Work closely with the development team to integrate backend features and APIs

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Search Engineer or AI Engineer with a focus on Large Language Models
  • Strong understanding of search technology and indexing techniques
  • Proficient in Python development and API creation
  • Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and cloud-based services
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with RAG architectures and textual RAG use cases
  • Knowledge of semantic chunking strategies and entity recognition
