Medical Research Associate Job Overview

This role involves recruiting pharmacies and physicians, administering data collection programs, and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop strategies for initiating calls to pharmacies and physicians, and implement these plans to achieve desired outcomes.
  2. Promote participation in syndicated panels by establishing relationships with pharmacists and physicians, and promoting the benefits of participation.
  3. Follow up with panel members to ensure maximum return rates, and respond to non-routine questions from panel members.
  4. Process incoming calls from panel members, referring complex questions to management.
  5. Prepare and distribute hardcopy data collection documents to assigned panel members.
  6. Implement electronic data capture strategies for assigned panel members.
  7. Educate and motivate data suppliers to comply with study guidelines.
  8. Investigate and resolve issues related to panel incentives within defined guidelines.
  9. Work collaboratively with the coding team to resolve data quality issues.
  10. Support special projects and studies by providing recruiting and interviewing support.
  11. Manage supplier-related information and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years experience in medical market research, with a focus on outbound business-to-business market research.
  • Excellent persuasive oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
