Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data platform, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support business-critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data ingestion processes into Google BigQuery using Fivetran.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, workflows, and transformations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement appropriate data models.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to data ingestion and transformation.
  • Work with Looker to translate complex data into actionable insights through compelling visualizations and dashboards.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Proficient in Google BigQuery and experienced in setting up and managing data warehouses.
  • Strong skills in DBT, including defining data transformations and semantic layers.
  • Hands-on experience with Fivetran for data movement across diverse data sources.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data modeling best practices.
  • Proficient in SQL for querying and manipulating data effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
