Job Overview

The role of Senior Cost Analyst is pivotal in driving operational efficiency and profitability within the organization. This position oversees the implementation and management of industrial costing systems, ensuring accurate recording and allocation of production costs.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Determine the actual cost of manufactured products, compare them with standard costs, and analyze variances (raw materials, production efficiency, fixed costs, absorption, etc.).
  2. Analyze contribution margin and profitability by product and customer, proposing improvements to optimize costs and increase competitiveness.
  3. Contribute to sales price formation processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  4. Support budget preparation, forecasting, and cost estimates for the plant, monitoring and analyzing deviations.
  5. Participate in inventory processes, including physical counts, accounting reconciliation, and adjustment analysis.
  6. Validate inventory balances, provisions, and adjustments, ensuring accuracy of reported information.
  7. Collaborate on continuous improvement projects, supporting plant management in pursuing operational efficiency and waste reduction.
  8. Provide key performance indicators (KPIs), variance analysis, and corrective action proposals to support decision-making.
  9. Maintain managerial cost reports and operational indicators, facilitating informed decision-making.
  10. Work closely with Engineering, Production Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure accurate costing.
  11. Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting principles, tax regulations, and audit requirements related to industrial costs and inventories.
