Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to design and implement our cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, Terraform, kustomize, and Kubernetes.

The selected individual will be responsible for creating modular pieces of infrastructure, building and maintaining our Kubernetes clusters, and preparing clear documentation of systems.

About the Role:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Create modular pieces of infrastructure using Terraform and kustomize.
  • Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
  • Prepare clear documentation of systems.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience administering production infrastructure including deployment pipelines, environments, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot deployment and configuration issues and implement solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based providers, preferably AWS.
  • CI/CD tooling experience with CircleCI or similar.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
  • Containerization: Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Code and development experience with Python, Bash, and similar.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including creating documentation for teammates.
  • Golang experience or willingness to learn is a plus.
