Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking an exceptional Business Intelligence Analyst to join our fast-growing BI & Analytics team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the expansion of our functions during an exciting scale-up data journey.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders, proactively providing data analyses and insights to the function. You will interpret KPIs with a clear understanding of results vs. expected targets, communicate insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, enabling them to make better-informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Proactively provide data analyses and insights to the function;
  • Interpret KPIs with a clear understanding of results vs. expected targets;
  • Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders;
  • Continuously assess and refine existing metrics and KPIs;
  • Develop new ones that drive business growth;
  • Work closely with the rest of Business Intelligence (BI) to ensure alignment;
  • Adopt best practices in data visualization;
  • Facilitate seamless information flow from the hub to the spoke and vice versa;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, or similar;
  • Experience in a reporting, statistical or quantitative role—experience in the gaming industry would be considered a plus;
  • Analytical mindset and detail-oriented with ability to focus and prioritize workload;
  • Exceptional data storytelling skills and the ability to articulate technical information to a non-technical audience;
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to collaborate and engage with senior stakeholders;
  • High drive, can-do attitude, proactive, and adaptable to changing business demands;
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, as well as strong skills in MS-Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, v-lookups);
  • Working experience with Microsoft Power BI would be considered a plus (or other dashboarding tools such as Tableau);
  • Working experience with Python would also be considered a plus (especially Pandas, Numpy, and other relevant libraries for data analysis);
