Bloomberg's financial analysis and modeling product requires skilled professionals to deliver fast and accurate market-moving data.
Our Company Financials team crafts a best-in-class financial analysis and modeling product by combining financial modeling, industry expertise, data management, and technical skills. We curate critical metrics and drive insights from our data, maintaining its accuracy and integrity.
The role involves monitoring and interpreting financial regulations, exchange rule changes, and emerging trends. This includes maintaining relationships with exchanges and third-party data vendors across multiple geographies to secure access to critical data sources and insights.
Key responsibilities include leading initiatives to improve and expand market data coverage, designing and managing structured projects aligned with business and client needs. Collaboration with internal stakeholders is essential to translate market needs into actionable data strategies.
This position also entails acting as a subject matter expert on specific markets or data types, guiding how financial filings and disclosures are sourced, processed, interpreted, and used across Bloomberg platforms.
Other tasks involve contributing to the development of automation and monitoring tools by offering business insight and data structure understanding. Creating and maintaining clear documentation, business rules, and operating procedures is also crucial for supporting team scalability and transparency.
Experience in financial markets, particularly within market data, exchanges, investor relations, or regulatory environments, is essential for this role. A deep understanding of company filings, financial disclosures, and market data structures is also required.
Required skills and qualifications include project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive results across teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication and presentation skills, and experience working with or within financial exchanges or regulators are all valuable assets.
