Job Title: SAP MM Functional Business Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MM Functional Business Analyst to join our team at Ball Corporation. As a key member of our SAP MM team, you will play a critical role in connecting our IT systems to the business, identifying optimal SAP technology solutions, and supporting projects, AMS, and initiatives globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support initiatives in the area of procure-to-pay (PTP), including SAP integrations with external systems.
  • Operate as a functional lead analyst for SAP procure-to-pay (PTP), with proficient knowledge of integrations with upstream and downstream modules such as SD, GRC Inbound, and FI/CO.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
  • Configure, integrate, test, and support SAP systems.
  • Prepare documentation, including functional specifications, solution proposals, testing, and training.
  • Support different phases of projects, from business requirements to hyper-care and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure adherence to global design, technical architecture, standards, audit, and change management.
  • Support AMS activities and enhance SAP for end-users based on requirements.

Requirements:

  • Complete degree in IT or related field.
  • SAP Academy certification.
  • Experience in SAP MM/GRC as a user with SAP Academy.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Material Management (IM) Process Flow area functions and their interactions with other SAP modules.
  • Brazilian Localization TAXBRA and other LATAM localizations (including E-invoice) are a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end PTP processes, including requisitions, purchases, contracts management, price determination, tax assignments, goods receipt, and invoice receipt.
  • Experience designing and implementing SAP integrations with EDI and 3rd-party systems.
  • Experience and understanding of GRC Inbound Fiscal and Logistic Monitor.
  • Experience and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Management model and documentation.
  • Debugging knowledge.
  • Ability to write functional specifications and documentation.

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across systems and business teams.
  • Experience operating in a global SAP environment, including collaboration with international teams and offshore models, is preferred.
