Financial Planning Coordinator Job Description

The role of the Financial Planning Coordinator involves collecting and analyzing financial data to inform strategic business decisions. This includes forecasting future financial trends, preparing financial reports, and identifying potential risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze financial data using various software programs.
  • Review financial statements to identify trends and forecast future financial performance.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to management teams to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor financial models to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Participate in financial audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Experience with financial software programs such as Excel, SAP, and Oracle.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
