Job Description

We are seeking an expert in quality and food safety to support regional teams in South America. The Regional Specialist will lead Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory issues linked to Customers, Commercial, Competitors, Strategic Marketing, and product specifications. This role involves cascading requests and aims as technical issues to operations, supply chain, and customer service. Key responsibilities include incident management practices, supporting facilities with maintenance and execution of the food safety management system, document management, complaint management, and trending compliance requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • 1) Describe and deploy House of Quality (Quality Function Deployment - QFD Tool) in waves for products and services with Smart Manufacturing Team support.
  • 2) Interact and support local teams to smart Yield integration and promote the complete supply chain from farm to customer.
  • 3) Act as FSQR representative at Customer Complaints Project deployment and governance in the region.
Key Accountabilities
  • 1) Define monitoring and KPIs for complaints, improve re-incidences of the same root cause, train areas to achieve targets.
  • 2) Lead complex CAPA using CI approach and describe procedures for complaints in Internal Markets of SA (B2B and B2C).
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Chemistry, Vet, or Zootechnics, or equivalent experience. Advanced English is required, and experience in manufacturing sites is preferred. A Master's degree in Quality and Process Management, Lean 6 sigma Green Belt Certification, Statistical Process Control, capability analyses, statistics, and CI tools are desirable. Laboratory knowledge, including Good Laboratory Practice and instrumentation, is also beneficial.
