Imaging Specialist

We are seeking skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team as Imaging Technologists. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including preparing equipment and examination rooms, performing tests, and ensuring the safety of both users and staff.

1. Prepare imaging equipment, examination rooms, and materials for each procedure.
2. Position patients correctly on the equipment and provide information about the exam based on the type of test.
3. Perform imaging exams using the best techniques available and ensure patient safety.
4. Operate devices according to established procedures and guidelines.
5. Conduct all requested imaging exams for inpatients and outpatients.
6. Maintain proper use of available equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
7. Prioritize exams for patients with higher age brackets and ensure timely completion of tasks.
8. Process images and transmit them to the archiving and communication system.
9. Collect data for process failure indicators and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
10. Participate in training sessions offered by the unit and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Key qualifications for this role include:

• High school education and technical training in Radiology.
• Active registration with the relevant professional council.
• Experience in the field is highly desirable.
