Senior Software Engineering Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving technical vision and innovation, empowering engineers, and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive technical vision and innovation, championing new technologies to solve complex challenges.
  • Empower and coach multiple engineering teams, fostering high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and grow high-performing teams, adept at strategic talent development, succession planning, and cultivating leadership within the organization.
  • Navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, fostering trust and psychological safety while managing difficult conversations.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale digital products or platforms, ensuring architectural excellence, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of deep professional engineering experience, with 4+ years leading and scaling multiple engineering teams or functions.
  • Possess modern software development methodologies (e.g., CI/CD, Agile, DevOps) expertise, driving their strategic adoption and refinement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience consulting with teams on best practices.
  • Certifications such as CSM, CSPO, PMP, SA, SPC, etc.
Bonus Points:
  • Professional experience as a Project or Product Manager and Scrum Master from a major technology consultancy or agency.
  • Guided a client to further their use of modern engineering practices or agile software delivery processes.
