About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Specialist to join our team at LHR Américas. As a key member of our Financial Risk Management Department, you will play a crucial role in analyzing risk exposures, designing strategies, and procuring insurance to protect our assets and mitigate liabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze risk exposures and develop strategies to mitigate or transfer risk
  • Design and implement insurance and reinsurance placement structures, including captive insurance companies
  • Negotiate and administer insurance and reinsurance contracts
  • Develop and advise on risk and insurance policy and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risk
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in insurance, risk management, or a related field
  • 12 years of experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical industry, or a major corporate organization
  • Professional certification in insurance or risk management, such as ACII, CMIRM, SIRM, or CPCU
  • Significant relevant corporate risk and insurance expertise, ideally with experience in the energy and petrochemical industry sector

  • Monthly over base salary of 25% of monthly base salary
  • Benefits supplement of 20% of monthly base salary, increasing to 25% after 3 years, 30% after 6 years, and 35% after 12 years
