Cybersecurity Mission at Imerys

Imerys prioritizes cybersecurity as a crucial aspect of its business operations, collaborations, and financial activities. To safeguard its information systems, the company requires a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to identify and resolve potential security threats.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and enforcing security policies across their domain.
  • Monitoring and accompanying operational security norm declination.
  • Ensuring the existence and validation of security standards.
  • Participating in the formalization of technical guides.
  • Deploying technical solutions.
  • Monitoring and harmonizing infrastructure risks.
  • Accompanying projects within their perimeter.
  • Ensuring alerts monitoring on their perimeter.
  • Ensuring infrastructure security.

As part of the Global Security Operation Center, the Cybersecurity Engineer will contribute to the technical leadership for security tools and standards, as well as Cybersecurity-related questions. They will coordinate technical projects around Security tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the SOC Team Manager (Information Systems Security Officer).
  • Collaborating with applications owners to improve the security of new and existing applications.
  • Contributing to the alignment of the Cybersecurity of acquired companies to Imerys standards.

Key duties include:

  • Responding to any security incident (IT & OT).
  • Protecting the Imerys brand and reputation against cyber threats by leading proactive actions and surveillance on the web and the dark net.
  • Administering and implementing the SOC platform (XDR, CTI, Mobile Security Solution ...).
  • Running security investigations & queries.
  • Serving as a strategic contact point for other IT colleagues and end-users.
  • Optimizing the cybersecurity program and leading continuous improvement projects.

This role involves working in agile teams with peers around the world, contributing to functionally rich and technically ambitious projects, and collaborating on high-volume, high-performance, maximum security requirements.

Key competencies required for this role include:

  • 3 to 6 years of technical experience in Cyber Security and security incident response.
  • International exposure.
  • Extensive knowledge of Security Solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of Cloud technologies (SAAS, PAAS, IAAS, CASB).
  • Extensive experience with Endpoint Detection & Response solutions.
  • Extensive experience with Security orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR).
  • Firewalls (preferably Palo Alto/Panorama).
  • Vulnerability Management (Qualys).
  • Patch Management.
  • Forensics analysis.
  • Global understanding of Information systems: applications, network, systems, email & collaboration systems, Cybersecurity...
  • Good knowledge of mobility tools: devices, mobile device management, mobile applications...
  • Knowledge of virtual architecture.
  • Security certifications that will have value for the role: CEH, GCRE, GBFA, GCIH, GICSP, GRID, GWEB, GEVA, CCSP, GSE, CISSP.

Behavioral and managerial competencies required include:

  • Ability to discuss within all organizations/countries in Imerys.
  • Ability to interact with several project managers/engineers, including senior leadership and peers.
  • Ability to work in multicultural environments.
  • Ability to organize/coordinate operations around global solutions within a multi-local organization.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate projects involving several actors of information systems: hosting, network, applications, systems, security...
  • Proactivity and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Fluent English.
