We are seeking a bright and driven individual to join our team as an Assistant Vendor Manager. In this role, you will work closely with our vendor partners to drive performance and growth across major functional areas, including site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance.

As an Assistant Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for conceiving, creating, and analyzing a wide range of marketing and site merchandising efforts to grow vendor traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon.com.br. You will also negotiate promotional opportunities for vendors, create comprehensive marketing proposals, and engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize product lines for key strategic brands.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the most innovative online retailer and develop strong functional skills across retail in online merchandising/marketing, buying, planning, and forecasting, pricing, and business analysis. Assistant Vendor Manager roles are in the General Management career path at Amazon and offer opportunities for greater responsibility and advancement into various roles, including Merchandising, Vendor Management, and Instock Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing and site merchandising strategies to drive vendor performance and growth
  • Negotiate promotional opportunities for vendors and create comprehensive marketing proposals
  • Work closely with internal teams to optimize product lines for key strategic brands
  • Conduct detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for vendors and Amazon.com.br
  • Manage vendor relationships and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 2-5 years of experience in quantitative/financial analysis, retail buying, inventory planning, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, pricing, or commercial account management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, proven multi-tasking ability, and quantitative analysis
  • Ability to quickly learn a varied set of software and editing tools, including HTML, Excel, and Access
  • SQL experience a bonus
