We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of data solutions that enable our organization to make informed decisions and improve overall performance.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable data architectures that meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Apache Airflow
  • Perform data modeling and optimization to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and automated testing
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, demonstrating expertise in designing and implementing data solutions
  • Proven experience of at least 1 year in leading a team of data engineers, demonstrating your ability to manage and mentor team members
  • Extensive knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL, including experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and NoSQL databases
  • Practical experience with cloud-based services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Excellent knowledge of software engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies, code reviews, and automated testing
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
