Job OverviewThe role of a Field Test Engineer involves contributing to the validation process for combine harvester and headers development.
This includes planning, reporting, executing, and supporting root cause investigation and durability/performance testing.
Also involved is following up on communication and combine operation tasks.
Responsibilities- Experience with harvesting process - machine maintenance, machine settings and configuration. Knowledge of combine and header functionality are desired skills.
- Support the planning and execution of activities (hands-on) in the field according to defined targets.
- General field tasks such as preparing machines for transport, maintenance, pre-settings, updates, driving machines and tractors, basic training to new operators.
- Support the engineering team on root cause investigation.
- Complete a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electrical engineering.
- Familiar with field environment; travel required over 80% of the time.
- Advanced English language skills are required.
