We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to take on a challenging role that will allow them to utilize their technical expertise to design, develop and maintain complex applications.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify and solve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.
  • Communicates effectively with team members, stakeholders, and non-technical persons and also collaborates well within a team, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior developers.
  • Shows a strong commitment to learning and staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems using Typescript, NestJS, Relational and Non-Relational Databases.
  2. Design and implement RESTful APIs, architect software systems (taking into consideration scalability, maintainability, and performance).
  3. Collaborate with the team to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.
  4. Mentor junior developers and share knowledge to improve team efficiency.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a backend developer.
  • Proficient in Typescript, NestJS, and Relational and Non-Relational Databases.
  • 2+ years of experience deploying and running code on AWS Lambda, with hands-on experience using DynamoDB and RDS.
  • Strong understanding of clean code principles and separation of concerns.
  • Familiar with DevOps practices (CI, CD, and deployments pipelines). Utilizes tools like Git, Docker, and Kubernetes for development and deployment.
