Logistics Sourcing Specialist
Job DescriptionThis is a unique opportunity for a Logistics Sourcing Specialist to collaborate with innovative and diverse people around the world. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical thinking skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience in logistics or sourcing/procurement.
The successful candidate will lead strategic problem solving initiatives, develop innovative solutions, and manage major claims against carriers. They will also drive cost-saving programs and opportunities, analyze market trends, and engage suppliers for future sourcing decisions.
A key responsibility of this role will be to negotiate sourcing contracts and build strategic relationships with key suppliers. The successful candidate will also create a system for tracking contract expirations and ensuring compliance with corporate sourcing policies and procedures.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
- Experience in logistics or Sourcing/procurement.
- Cost & cash savings negotiation experience with Supplier Owners/Stakeholders, Key Account Managers/Directors & Company Leaders/Decision Makers.
- Fluent in English.
- Spanish Mid-Level.
- Excellent verbal and written communications.
- Strong program management and problem-solving skills and collaboration across teams, functions, and organization.
- Initiative, self-starter with a positive & proactive approach.
- Very engaging, successfully collaborating with internal & external stakeholders on complex projects.
- Financial acumen and comfort with conducting business analytics, contract management, etc.
This role requires working at least four days a week in the office located in Sumaré, São Paulo (SP).
