We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our team as a Legal Counsel, Intermediate.

About the Role:

  • As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for reviewing and drafting contractual documents, negotiating with clients and suppliers, and assessing potential risks. You will also be involved in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and other commercial agreements.
  • Your expertise will be essential in providing strategic guidance on corporate, commercial, environmental, and labor law matters, as well as researching and responding to legal inquiries related to disputes, regulatory issues, intellectual property, privacy, fraud, and claims.

About You:

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in Law and preferably a Postgraduate degree in Business or Contract Law. Your experience should include at least 5 years in corporate/contract law, preferably as in-house counsel in mining, energy, or construction sectors, or in law firms serving clients in these areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively in English and Portuguese.
  • A strong understanding of legal concepts applicable to engineering and consulting services is a must. You should also have organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
