Telecommunications Analyst Role

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to excel in the field of telecommunications as a highly skilled analyst. The primary focus will be on serving as a specialist for TDM/VOIP telephone operator services, with a concentration on Telefonica and UCaaS systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring system performance, managing and resolving potential issues in Telefonica and UCaaS platforms.
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of the SIP protocol to optimize performance and troubleshoot.
  • Providing advanced support for end customers in the Telephony area and working within operations teams.
  • Collecting event logs and traces for analysis and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Actively monitoring telecom networks, gateways, SBC, and cloud instances.
  • Operating telecom devices, monitoring platforms, and managing alarm notifications.
  • Sharing knowledge through training and supporting other analysts on the team.
  • Facilitating integration between PABX/UCaaS systems and other platforms such as CRM.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in telecommunications infrastructure (IP and Voice services).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in configuring and troubleshooting Routers; Switches and Telephone Systems.
  • Proficiency in Cloud tools and environment, preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge of TDM and NGN Telephony Networks.
  • Installation and configuration of network equipment.
  • Installation and configuration of VoIP, IP PBX or UCaaS equipment.
  • Network protocols - TCP/IP.
  • SIP signaling protocol.
  • SS7, ISDN and R2 signaling protocol.
  • Data communication links, E1, Metro Ethernet.
  • Software like: Splunk, Zabbix, SolarWinds.
  • Completed or ongoing higher education related to the area of Technology, Networks and/or Telecommunications (Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Networks or similar).
