About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Planning Specialist to join our team at Kimberly-Clark Corporation. As a key member of our tax function, you will play a critical role in driving tax savings and efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tax savings and efficiency initiatives to improve our operating profit (OP) and effective tax rate (ETR).
  • Support the tax law compliance process, including US GAAP income tax accounting and reporting, as well as transfer pricing matters.
  • Prepare and review CCH edit checks and ensure accurate HFM reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business strategies and plans that contribute to our ETR goals.
  • Identify and implement tax savings opportunities through proactive analysis, idea generation, and recommendation.
  • Review tax analysis and insights to drive improvement of contribution margins through efficiency and compliance in the application of tax law.
  • Support the business with tax-related studies, ideas, and projects, including VAT taxes and tax impacts related to business changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, or a related field with relevant experience in tax packages, income tax, and local accounting purposes.
  • Advanced working knowledge of English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Demonstrated functional/technical, quantitative, and analytical skills with the ability to make recommendations.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and facilitate different perspectives to drive solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills, and collaboration and teamwork.
