iOS Software Engineer Job Description

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled iOS software engineer to join our team. As an experienced developer, you will design and implement new features in iPhone and iPad applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new features in native iOS apps.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle (including support and continuous integration) and ensure the required level of device compatibility.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to define, design, and ship new features and product iterations.
  • Write resilient code that will be continuously tested, deployed, and performed at scale.
  • Be a part of a self-organizing and cross-functional team.
  • Actively improving overall software quality while also helping fellow team members.
  • Contribute to the team's technical direction and the improvement of its tools and processes.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Swift, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
  • 3+ years of experience in native iOS app development.
  • Experience working with REST APIs.
  • Being open to learning and exploring new technologies.
  • Have an ownership mentality and take pride in your work.
  • Experience working using WebSocket.
