Infrastructure Automation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Professional to join our team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automation workflows for provisioning, configuration, and management of on-premise network devices, servers, and storage. They will work closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams to lead operational efficiency and reliability.

• Design and Implement Automation Workflows: Develop and implement automation workflows for provisioning, configuration, and management of on-premise network devices, servers, and storage.
• Support Configuration Standards: Assist in defining and standardizing configuration baselines for each device type and region.
• Audit and Discover Device Configurations: Conduct audits and discover existing device configurations, collect inventories, and identify gaps or variances from defined baselines.
• Develop Reusable Templates and Playbooks: Contribute to the development and rollout of reusable configuration templates and automation playbooks for zero-touch provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Integrate Configuration Standards into Provisioning Workflows: Help integrate configuration standards into automated provisioning workflows, ensuring all new devices use approved templates to minimize technical debt.
• Participate in Compliance Validation: Participate in building compliance validation checkpoints within provisioning pipelines, supporting config drift detection and remediation.
• Ongoing Configuration Management: Assist in ongoing configuration management by supporting version control, rollback workflows, and continuous improvement processes.
• Automation Solutions for Infrastructure and Application Environments: Support the design and implementation of automation solutions for infrastructure and application environments using CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Scripting and Automation Workflows: Develop scripts and automation workflows for system provisioning, configuration management, and environment monitoring using industry-standard tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Pipeline Automation and Maintenance: Assist in automating and maintaining build, test, and deployment pipelines for cloud and on-premises environments.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver automation initiatives that improve delivery speed, quality, and security.
• Troubleshooting and Resolution: Participate in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues in automation workflows, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the documentation of automation processes, configuration standards, and best practices.
• Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Monitor production and staging environments to help ensure availability, performance, and compliance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Equivalent Practical Experience.
• 5 Years of Experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Similar Technical Automation Role.
• Working Knowledge of Infrastructure Concepts (Systems, Cloud, Networking Basics).
• Hands-on Experience with CI/CD Tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in at Least One Scripting or Programming Language (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code or Configuration Management Tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Containerization Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Basic Understanding of Monitoring and Logging Tools.
