About the Role

Downing Capital Group, a leading Venture Capital and Private Equity firm, is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Project Manager to join our S.W.A.T. team. As a key member of our investment team, you will collaborate closely with portfolio company management to define and execute strategic projects, drive operational improvements, and support M&A activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Project Execution: Collaborate with portfolio companies to define and execute strategic projects, including go-to-market strategies, process implementation, and managerial KPIs.
  • Operational Support: Independently manage vendor selection and negotiation processes, ensuring optimal terms and alignment with project goals.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Actively participate in the CEO's daily activities, including attending board meetings and updates with portfolio company management teams.
  • Data and Reporting: Develop and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to track progress on key initiatives.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience at a leading management consulting firm.
  • Outstanding academic credentials with a bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Ability to work within a time zone no more than 3 hours different from EST.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally for periods of at least two full weeks as needed.
  • Strong analytical acumen with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with C-Suite executives and senior management.
What We Offer
  • Contract position with a minimum commitment of 12 months (ideally 24 months).
