Tax Consultant

Job Summary:

A challenging role has become available in our tax team. As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting large volumes of data to identify tax opportunities and translating complex tax concepts into actionable insights for internal clients.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in process mapping and flowcharts, and experience in tax areas, preferably in large companies or tax consultancies.

We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or Engineering, and intermediate to advanced English language skills.

• Interpreting large volumes of data to identify tax opportunities
• Translating complex tax concepts into actionable insights for internal clients
• Participating in technical studies on the impacts of new indirect taxes created by Tax Reform
• Implementing adjustments in processes, controls, systems, and tax strategies for an efficient transition
• Supporting business areas in strategic decisions involving indirect tax legislation
• Managing projects related to process improvement
• Performing the mapping of fiscal processes and promoting integration with related areas and affected cycles
• Participating in the development of legal strategies to reduce tax burden

• Degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or Engineering
• Analytical skills in data and processes, as well as proficiency in process mapping and flowcharts
• Experience in tax areas and broad knowledge of indirect taxes, preferably in large companies or tax consultancies
• Intermediate to advanced English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Knowledge of ERPs such as DATASUL, Oracle, TOTVS, SAP, or other integrated systems
• Experience in the preparation and validation of ancillary obligations
