Freelance Accounting Systems Specialist

About us
We specialize in international placements and are looking for a freelance accounting specialist to improve our systems, automate processes, and create clear financial reports to support our growth.
Main responsibilities include setting up QuickBooks Online for our Canadian entity, managing and automating accounting tasks such as reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and reporting. We also need help migrating existing financial tools from Excel/Google Sheets into our new automated reporting app for two entities.
Candidates should have solid accounting and bookkeeping skills, be digitally savvy, with the ability to streamline processes and leverage automation tools. Excellent Excel and/or Google Sheets skills are essential, as well as being hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive about process improvements.
We're looking for someone comfortable working in a start-up environment: resourceful, flexible, and solution-oriented.
