Job Summary:

As a Production Operator at Sibelco, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our installations. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products in accordance with our specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation Management: Handle and adjust installations according to established procedures and policies, ensuring that all operations are performed in accordance with our guidelines.
  • Alert Resolution: Promptly address alerts and notifications to prevent any disruptions to our production process.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on our products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Non-Conformity Identification: Identify any non-conformities throughout the production process and collaborate with colleagues to address these issues.
  • Production Monitoring: Monitor and control the amount of products produced by each installation.
  • Supportive Roles: Perform auxiliary tasks to support the production process, as directed by our procedures and supervisors.
  • Maintenance Assistance: Assist maintenance technicians and electricians with large-scale maintenance activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, such as weighbridge operators and bagging operators, to ensure continuous production.
  • Data Entry: Accurately record all relevant production data in our IT system.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the use of personal protective equipment and take responsibility for its safekeeping and conservation, as outlined in our safety policy manual.
