Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to coordinate multiple projects within our organization, ensuring they align with our overarching business goals and deliver tangible benefits. This role requires strategic thinking, effective delegation, clear communication, and a pragmatic attitude to drive successful delivery of change and manage interdependencies between projects.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Program Strategy: Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives in line with organizational strategy and long-term objectives.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring new products or services are delivered in accordance with program goals and governance arrangements.
  • Budget Management: Manage program budgets and funding, including writing funding proposals to ensure continuous service delivery.
  • Progress Monitoring: Proactively monitor program progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective action as needed.
  • Evaluation Methods: Develop evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify improvement areas.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project issues and decisions.
  • Reporting: Produce accurate and timely reports of program status throughout its life cycle.
  • Risk Management: Facilitate the appointment of individuals and third-party contributions to project teams and manage risks, dependencies, and interfaces between projects to ensure the program's success.

Requirements:



  • Business Acumen: A sharp business acumen with the ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project management, followed by an advanced management role, ideally with program management experience.
  • Languages: Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish, both oral and written.
  • Proposal Writing: Proven proposal writing experience and excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Team Management: Experience managing teams and knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
  • Credibility: Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams and motivate members.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems proactively and pre-empt potential issues.
  • Relationship Management: Strong skills in customer and business relationship management.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary and distributed teams.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of budgeting, allocation procedures, and techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programs.
  • Tools: Familiarity with program, project, and change management methods such as MSP, Scrum, and Kanban, as well as working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and JIRA.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication, time management, facilitation, prioritization, and organizational skills, strategic thinking, effective delegation, clear communication, and a pragmatic attitude.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 depending on location and experience.
