Cloud-Driven Software Engineer

At AgileEngine, we seek a seasoned Cloud-Driven Software Engineer to collaborate with our cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience building and evolving cloud-based applications, particularly in the life insurance space.

In this role, you will work on developing innovative features that enhance our main platform. This includes evaluating existing integrations, collaborating with developers, and writing clear technical documentation. Your expertise in software design patterns, React, NodeJS, and relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL is highly valued.

  • Develop cutting-edge features for our main platform
  • Evaluate and document current integrations
  • Work with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation
  • Collaborate within a dedicated Agile Delivery environment

We are looking for candidates with 8+ years of production-quality code writing experience, preferably in core software product development. You must have a strong understanding of software design patterns, best practices in frontend architecture, and Test Driven Development.

Additionally, we expect our ideal candidate to have hands-on experience with designing and building scalable, enterprise-grade cloud-native applications. Familiarity with integrating 3rd party APIs (REST, XML, JSON), Cloud services (AWS, Docker, Redis, Kubernetes), and Upper-Intermediate English level is also required.
