Child Poverty Analyst

The Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Fight against Hunger, is seeking a consultant to analyze the Family Vulnerability Index (IVCAD) indicators, focusing on children and adolescents. The consultancy will provide a detailed analysis of multidimensional child poverty and vulnerability.
This consultancy will involve analyzing the current IVCAD, identifying potential dimensions and related indicators to inform a multidimensional analysis of child vulnerability using Unified Registry data. The consultant will also assess access gaps for children and adolescents and their families to social protection and education services.
Key qualifications include an advanced university degree in social sciences, public policy, economics, statistics, or other relevant fields, and at least 5 years of professional experience in research, analysis, and policy development related to social protection, poverty measurement, child rights, or public policy evaluation. Technical expertise in quantitative research, statistical analysis, and multidimensional poverty measurement is also required.
To be successful in this consultancy, the candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools, are also essential.
