We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Fraud Prevention team in Brazil.
- Build systems that identify and remove fraudsters from online platforms;
- Develop, implement and productionize machine learning models for detecting anomalies and preventing fraud;
- Help create new anti-fraud solutions at scale, focusing on developing sustainable business growth;
- Collaborate with the team to ensure successful project deliveries and promote technical health throughout all phases of product development;
- Apply technology best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes and tools;
- Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in the production environment;
- Contribute to creating a supportive work environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves and achieving work-life balance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline;
- Experience as a data scientist delivering consistent results in a business setting, preferably working with large datasets and high-uncertainty scenarios;
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms and hands-on experience implementing and prototyping them;
- Lifelong learner passionate about emerging technologies with proficiency in Python, SQL and cloud computing;
- Strong communication skills explaining complex concepts to various audiences;
- Ability to drive business impact through data-driven decision-making and experimentation;
- Naturally curious with a knack for teamwork and collaboration;
- Experience working with fraud detection models and anomaly detection techniques is a plus.
