Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Credit Risk Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in assessing and managing credit risk for corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough credit risk assessments of corporate clients, analyzing financial statements, market trends, and regulatory developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed credit reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including relationship managers, product specialists, and risk management, to assess, monitor, and approve credit transactions, ensuring compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage the credit risk exposure of the portfolio, staying informed about industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact client creditworthiness.
  • Support the development and enhancement of credit risk models and tools, driving innovation and efficiency in risk management practices.
  • Participate in client meetings and due diligence processes as needed, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in credit risk analysis, with a strong understanding of corporate finance, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in accounting, financial modeling, and data analysis software.
  • Familiarity with traditional types of credit agreements, including lending and derivatives transactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Highly motivated with a passion for learning and an inquisitive nature, able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership of tasks, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
