Tax Leadership Role in Brazil

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead our tax team in Brazil, ensuring tax compliance across multiple legal entities and subsidiaries. This position is crucial for driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting high-impact projects, such as tax reform.

This professional will serve as a technical and strategic reference in the tax area, leading a dedicated team and collaborating with key areas of the company to ensure tax excellence, legal compliance, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of professionals, fostering high performance and technical growth.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, ICMS-ST) for both legal and corporate purposes.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Brazilian tax legislation, including implementation of tax reform.
  • Manage tax risks and provide advisory support for business initiatives.
  • Conduct financial analyses to identify tax optimization opportunities.
  • Manage tax audits and interactions with government authorities.
  • Define and implement tax policies and strategies aligned with the group.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and global tax teams to ensure an integrated approach.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Experience: Solid experience in tax management, with a strong focus on Brazilian tax laws and regulations. Knowledge of international tax principles and tax compliance obligations is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a large team effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Portuguese and English.
  • Ethics: Strong ethical standards and integrity in managing sensitive financial information.
