**About the Role**

At Equinix, we're on a mission to bring together and interconnect foundational infrastructure at software speed. As an Infrastructure Solutions Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of this journey, maintaining critical facilities infrastructure as part of a close-knit team delivering best-in-class service to our data center customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide N3-level support and escalation, manage critical incidents, and perform capacity and performance analyses to propose optimization solutions.
  • Oversee infrastructure monitoring, enhance availability, and swiftly address issues. Maintain and update IT infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
  • Engage in new projects to enhance product infrastructure, keeping abreast of market trends and tools.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, ensure product security, manage equipment warranties and support, and participate in supplier meetings and technical events.
  • Investigate, document, and resolve root causes of problems or failures.

**Requirements**

  • A complete degree in the IT field.
  • Proficiency in managing DELL and HP physical servers and VMWare-based infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of network infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux Operating Systems, and the Zabbix monitoring platform.
  • Advanced English proficiency for conversation.
  • Experience in scripting for automation (Python preferred), infrastructure projects, and design.
  • Familiarity with Commvault Backup or Veeam Backup.
