P2P Payment Solutions Manager Japan

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our P2P payment solutions in Japan and Korea.

This role will entail setting up, developing, and managing P2P payment systems across these markets. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, as well as building strong relationships with local payment partners, banks, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end setup of P2P payment solutions in Japan and Korea, guaranteeing adherence to local laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local payment providers, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities and refine our strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of payment solutions.
  • Metric-driven optimization of payment processes to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Regularly provide senior management with updates on market trends and project progress.
  • Represent the company at key industry events and conferences in the region.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in business development within the payments industry.
  • A minimum of 1 year's hands-on experience setting up P2P payments in Japan and Korea.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment in both countries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects successfully.
  • Fluency in English; Japanese and/or Korean is an asset.
