Technical Support Specialist

This role is the primary contact for technical-related activities, supporting multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will analyze data, manage databases, provide hardware/software support and serve as a network point of contact.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a distribution environment and 3+ years in hardware/software systems maintenance and technical support. They will be proficient in computer data entry and research, with a motivated self-starter attitude and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and manipulate data for operational insights.
  • Create tools, macros, etc., for local teams.
  • Manage and create databases as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements through technical solutions.
  • Support ad hoc requests.
  • Own local IT equipment and requests.
  • Act as the primary IT contact for systems issues.
  • Serve as IT POC for on-site projects.
  • Manage asset tracking and management.
  • Coordinate updates, testing, and support for IT systems and software.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a distribution environment preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Programs skills required.
  • EAM knowledge is a plus.
