Senior Risk Management Specialist

You will be responsible for conducting risk and control assessments, control testing, managing risk events, operational losses, and developing key risk indicators.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Monitors Operational Risk.
  2. Analyzes the direction and sufficiency of internal controls and performs periodic control tests.
  3. Conducts root cause analysis of incidents and losses captured in the database for Operational risk.
  4. Conducts risk assessments of new or changing products, with proposals for appropriate controls to support successful deployment.
  5. Prepares materials for the Risk Committee and management reports.

Role Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in a Finance or Business-related subject.
  2. 3-5 years of risk or related experience in a financial Institution.
  3. Excellent knowledge of banking regulations.
  4. Advanced knowledge in Excel.
  5. Proactivity and Organization.
  6. Excellent communications skills (verbal/written).
  7. Data Analytics skills (SQL, PYTHON).
  8. Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, and decision-making skills, together with the ability to interact and communicate effectively.
  9. Ability to work individually, or collaborate with others in a global, fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity, making quick decisions, and managing tight timelines.
  10. Intermediate to advanced English is required.
