Industrial Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic I to join our maintenance team at McCain Foods. As an Industrial Mechanic I, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, production lines, and facilities ensuring continuity and safety of operations.

You will work in a technical and proactive manner, contributing to equipment performance and adherence to the company's quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out mechanical repairs on industrial machines and equipment through disassembly, assembly, adjustments, lubrication, welding, and replacement of parts.
• Execute inspections and repairs on components such as conveyor belts, rollers, packaging machines, palletizers, and pumps, in accordance with a planned maintenance schedule.
• Report service orders via the SAP system, maintaining updated technical records and contributing to the maintenance history.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Maintenance Management System (MDI), seeking continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
• Comply with and enforce McCain policies related to safety, quality, environment, and good manufacturing practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields.
• Experience with installing and assembling industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of industrial lubrication and hydraulic systems.
• Availability to work in Araxa/MG.
