Capacity Planner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Capacity Planning Expert to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive capacity planning strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation of an Amazon facility.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in labor forecasting, productivity optimization, and data-driven decision-making to align the workforce and resources with current and future demand.

• Develop and maintain accurate forecasting models to predict sortation volume, labor requirements, and resource needs for assigned facilities.
• Analyze historical performance data, productivity trends, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for enhancing labor efficiency, improving process workflows, and optimizing resource allocation.
• Collaborate with site managers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to develop and implement workforce planning strategies.
• Leverage advanced analytics, simulation tools, and automation solutions to optimize labor utilization and overall productivity.
• Provide data-driven recommendations on capacity planning, capital investment, and long-term expansion initiatives.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Shop floor experience is relevant.
• Experience driving end-to-end delivery, communicating results to senior leadership, and driving process improvements.
• Stakeholder management and building processes, project management, and schedules.
