**Tax Consultant Role**:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join our team at General Motors. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will play a key role in providing tax consultancy and advice to various departments within the company, aiming to identify tax burdens, risks, and potential incentives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Provide tax consultancy and advice to several departments, including finance, supply chain, sales, purchasing, marketing, manufacturing, and others.
  • Support projects focused on tax efficiency and reducing tax burdens, presenting legislative alternatives and respective calculations.
  • Prepare and analyze advance tax ruling requests, special regimes, and other documents necessary for presentation to tax authorities/agencies.
  • Review and monitor processes established by the company to obtain tax efficiency, tax credits, and/or reduce tax risks.
  • Monitor tax legislation and provide guidance on its impacts to the business.
  • Analysis and interpretation of current legislation with studies and strategic actions to reduce tax expenses and optimize cash flow.
  • Support the Controversy team in preparing controls related to tax risks.

**Requirements**:

  • Completed degree in Administration, Law, or Accounting Sciences.
  • Postgraduate/Specialization in the Tax area will be considered a plus.
  • Previous experience in tax consultancy in industries or big-four with a focus on serving industries (minimum 3 years) preferred.
  • Fluent English.
