Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to elevate our data engineering and software development initiatives by contributing to the development of a large-scale data engineering pipeline, enhancing our AWS cloud-based solutions, and driving advancements in data ingestion, processing, and analysis.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience in full-stack engineering with a strong balance of front-end and back-end development skills, preferably React.js and Python Frameworks. They should also have experience with AWS technologies, particularly in data handling and cloud deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy a large-scale data engineering pipeline for efficient data ingestion and management.
  • Implement AWS cloud services, including S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, and Textract, to support data operations and storage solutions.
  • Engage in mass data migration and upload processes, focusing on prioritization and enablement of critical data.
  • Generate structured outputs for business analysis and documentation retrieval.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of tabular data and adverse events clinical data.
  • Integrate and enhance portfolio management tools and user interaction pathways.
  • Optimize result diversity and quality for business user applications.
  • Scale infrastructure to support a growing user base and enhance performance.
Requirements
  • Strong background in full-stack engineering with expertise in both front-end and back-end development.
  • Experience with AWS technologies, including S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, and Textract.
  • Exposure to data science methodologies and tools, with a preference for knowledge in knowledge graphs and the Microsoft GraphRag paradigm.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
