About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fraud Prevention Data Analyst to join our team in Brazil.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with machine learning algorithms and fraud detection models. You will be responsible for identifying, preventing, and removing fraudulent actors from our platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a real impact on our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build production systems that identify and remove fraudsters from our platform;
  • Owning the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from ideation and prototyping to production deployment and monitoring;
  • Help to prototype, implement and productionize new anti-fraud solutions at scale;
  • Ensure successful deliveries, and promote the long-term technical health of our journeys;
  • Ensure a high bar on code quality standards, making sure the team are proud of their work;
  • Apply technology best practices;
  • Troubleshoot issues in the production environment;
  • Drive business impact, data-driven development, and experimentation;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience;
  • Experience as a data scientist delivering consistent results in a business setting;
  • Knowledge of machine learning (supervised and unsupervised) algorithms and hands-on experience implementing and prototyping them;
  • Lifelong learner passionate about emerging technologies, with proficiency in Python and SQL;
  • Strong communication skills explaining technical concepts to different audiences;
  • Natural curiosity and ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Proficient experience with fraud and anomaly detection models;
  • Experience working with public clouds, especially AWS (Nice to have);
  • English proficiency.
