Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a skilled technical manager to oversee a solutions architecture team dedicated to assisting Brazilian Public Sector Government clients in leveraging AWS technologies effectively.


In this position, you will be responsible for recruiting and nurturing some of the finest cloud-based solutions architects in the industry. You will mentor them on best practices for cloud adoption, empowering them to enhance their technical expertise, communication, presentation, and strategic advisory capabilities.


Your role will involve collaboration with various AWS teams, including account management, service teams, marketing, and professional services, to prioritize initiatives and align objectives for long-term value.


You and your team will develop and execute a strategy aimed at increasing awareness and widespread use of AWS services within the Brazilian Government sector.


Direct interaction with customers will be essential to understand their requirements and align the appropriate resources and tools to enhance their success.


You will be responsible for measuring and delivering results while keeping pace with the rapid innovation of AWS technology and its applications.


It is crucial for you to possess technical credibility to shape customer-focused initiatives and guide your team effectively.


This role will allow you to exercise creativity in connecting technology with practical solutions and educating customers about the possibilities.


Supporting Solutions Architects in developing cutting-edge reference architectures for diverse use cases will be central to your responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and continuously develop Solutions Architects and Solution Architecture Managers, fostering the growth of exceptional talent.
  • Guide Solutions Architects in conducting technical sessions to share their expertise with customers considering or utilizing AWS.
  • Collaborate with account management teams to create and implement a customer-centric strategy that accelerates AWS adoption.
  • Lead the development of whitepapers, blogs, and other valuable customer-facing resources and best practices.
  • Own the technical strategy that enhances customer value and promotes the adoption of well-architected AWS solutions among Brazilian Government clients.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, partners, professional services, and support.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in enterprise IT application work, including software development or DevOps engineering.
  • Experience in architecting or operating solutions on any cloud service provider, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
  • Experience in developing technology solutions and advocating for comprehensive technology roadmaps that facilitate IT transformations towards cloud computing.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams of senior technology professionals, preferably in customer-facing roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
