Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Financial Staff Manager, you will partner closely with the General Manager to continuously improve the company's financial performance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Providing guidance and leadership to the management team on operational topics and long-term strategic areas.
  • Collaborating with the project management director and service director to ensure timely and profitable completion of projects and services.
  • Focusing on margin improvement and productivity initiatives across the entire value chain.
  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Managing the company's financial risks, including overseeing projects and services.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leading a team of finance professionals and providing guidance and support as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA) preferred.
  • Hands-on and proactive attitude, willing to engage in operational topics.
  • Strong understanding of Brazil accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax rules.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of managing financial risks and implementing financial policies.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
