Job Summary

The Trade Sales Specialist is a key professional responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales and relationship management. This role requires a deep understanding of trade finance and commercial sales principles, as well as excellent communication and diplomacy skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to deepen relationships with clients and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure deals that balance risk and reward, ensuring alignment with client interests.
  • Provide expert advice and counsel on trade finance and commercial sales matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies.
  • Prepare and oversee new transaction submissions and annual reviews to support underwriting of trade deals.
  • Ensure deals are structured to balance risk and reward, with incentives aligned with client interests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, potentially Master's degree.
  • English Fluency is required.
  • Experience in trade finance is required.
  • Experience in the Agri sector is required.
