Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Advisory Transportation Management Consultant with expertise in SAP Transportation Management (TM). The successful candidate will combine techno-functional knowledge of SAP TM with advisory, change management, and project management skills to ensure the system is embedded into daily business processes, embraced by end users, and continuously improved.

This role focuses on helping our organisation adopt, optimise, and fully leverage SAP TM to achieve operational excellence. Our ideal candidate will guide the organisation through process change and adoption of SAP TM, develop and execute a structured change management and communication plan, review and refine transportation and logistics processes to align with industry best practices, provide recommendations for freight planning, carrier collaboration, settlement, and execution, ensure integration of TM processes with wider supply chain and ERP (SAP S/4HANA), deliver targeted training sessions to end users, key users, and leadership teams, produce clear documentation, SOPs, and training materials, build in-house knowledge to ensure sustainable long-term operations, work alongside solution architects and the build team to ensure business needs are realised, coordinate activities across business, IT, and external vendors to drive alignment, provide project reporting, milestone tracking, and KPI measurement, and identify areas for system and process enhancement post go-live.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Advisory & Change Management: Guide the organisation through process change and adoption of SAP TM, develop and execute a structured change management and communication plan.
  • Process Optimisation: Review and refine transportation and logistics processes to align with industry best practices, provide recommendations for freight planning, carrier collaboration, settlement, and execution.
  • Training & Knowledge Enablement: Deliver targeted training sessions to end users, key users, and leadership teams, produce clear documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Work alongside solution architects and the build team to ensure business needs are realised, coordinate activities across business, IT, and external vendors to drive alignment, provide project reporting, milestone tracking, and KPI measurement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for system and process enhancement post go-live.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will possess strong techno-functional knowledge of SAP TM, excellent advisory, change management, and project management skills, experience in guiding organisations through process change and adoption of SAP TM, ability to develop and execute structured change management and communication plans, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working in fast-paced environments.
