Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our team. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations using state-of-the-art equipment.
Your primary focus will be on conducting non-invasive diagnostic tests to evaluate blood flow and detect potential disorders of blood veins, arteries, or vessels. You will work closely with physicians to provide preliminary findings and report any abnormalities to nursing personnel and/or providers.
To excel in this role, you should possess excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team, we encourage you to apply.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; specialized diploma from an approved CAHEA or CAAHEP school of vascular sonography or certification program preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS) or VS - Vascular Sonography (ARRT) upon hire.
- Skills: Proficiency in vascular ultrasound techniques, ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital staff, multitasking, and stress management.
