Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), implementing and managing data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen 2, and designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create efficient and scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Design and implement data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen 2.
  • Develop and maintain complex data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Utilize Azure Stream Analytics for real-time data processing and analytics.
  • Evaluate and ensure data quality and integrity through effective data governance practices.
  • Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated build and deployment.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.

Requirements:

  • Experience with serverless computing using Azure Functions.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation using Azure Logic Apps.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Stream Analytics for real-time data processing.
  • Knowledge of API management using Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance using Microsoft Purview.
  • Proficiency in PySpark for data processing and transformation.
  • Strong experience with data integration and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Expertise in scalable data storage using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen 2.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, particularly Azure DevOps.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
