Senior Business Process Improvement Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team. As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high quality of R&D documentation and the global ingredient standard supporting low and medium complexity projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in research and development or process areas interfaced with R&D, with a minimum of 2 years' experience. A bachelor's degree in food science and technology, chemical engineering, nutrition, or related field is required.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and high quality of ingredients, products, and processes documentation, in partnership with product developers, for innovation, productivity, and business continuity agenda. They will also execute and comply with the requirements of the Global Ingredient Standards by building a strong connection with external suppliers and documenting new or existing ingredient specifications.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, decision-making ability, influencing skills, collaboration, creative thinking, cultural adaptability, and flexibility. The successful candidate will have excellent data management and analytical skills, with high energy and commitment to the position demands.

• Ensure the integrity and high quality of ingredients, products, and processes documentation, in partnership with product developers, for innovation, productivity, and business continuity agenda.
• Execute and comply with the requirements of the Global Ingredient Standards by building a strong connection with external suppliers and documenting new or existing ingredient specifications.
• Replicate and load specifications into SAP PLM or other systems.
• Bring digital solutions to simplify R&D ways of working.
• Execute plans to ensure R&D data sustainability and SAP-PLM adoption in Brasil, SOCO, and Andean.
• Manage workflows in the systems, mainly in SAP.
• Support the qualification and approval of suppliers according to the global quality protocol.
• Work with external suppliers to ensure compliance with ingredients, product, and process specifications.
• Write specifications of raw materials, semi-finished, and processes.
• Work with project leaders to ensure project timeline compliance.
• Lead projects of medium and high complexity to have critical experience as a product developer.
• Support operational training related to new technology or product.
• Flexibility to coordinate industrial, pilot plant, or laboratory tests for new products, processes, and/or equipment (or adaptations to existing ones).
• Participate in project meetings of the functional team.
• Ensure the confidentiality of R&D information and company strategy.
• Communicate with Legacy Specs Update team to provide updates on progress.
• Support and executes data cleaning, enrichment, and sustain for Latin America digitization efforts.

Who We Are Looking For?

• Research & Development or Process area interfaced with R&D - minimum experience of 2 years.
• MS or Bachelors in food science and technology, Chemical Engineering, Nutrition or related.
• Desirable technical knowledge in Foods platforms.
• Desirable experience in SAP (PLM and/or ERP).
• Ability to influence across matrixed R&D and category organization.
• Intellectual and technical curiosity.
• Basic knowledge in Food Safety, HACCP, Allergen.
• Language: English and Spanish (min intermediate).
• Flexibilty to travel (national & international).
